Swim Ranch 2009

We completed our first year of swim ranch and the kids did great. By the end of the week, Stafford swam from one side of the pool to the other side(with a swim buoy, but they say it just really gives them reassurance). I was so proud of him and he was so proud of himself. Reese did well too, but by the end of the week, she just wanted to play in the pool and not take instructions. I guess you can't have two patient children. Overall, I think it was a success and can't wait till next year.

July Days

We have had some great July days and nights. From swimming in the pool to eating corn on the cob to eating popsicles outside at night. I just love the summer and the great memories you make. These kids are loving the pool and can't get enough of eating popsicles outside after dinner. I strip them down, especially Reese, and let them loose. You can tell from the picture how well Reese is at eating it before it melts all over her. See why I strip her down.

Makes me Smile

I found this picture while I was downloading my 250 pictures from the last few weeks. It just makes me smile. I hope to catch up in the next few days. I am really behind on my blogging.

piggies

Guess who is keeping their piggies painted every week? I can't get over how patient she is
to let me paint them, but she loves it. As most of you know she isn't the most patient child. I absolutely love it though.

Guess Who's 3!!

July 22, 2006

1st Birthday

2nd Birthday

This is what he woke up to this morning. He walked in the kitchen and said, "Wow, this is for my Birthday!".

Eating his lion pancake he requested this morning for breakfast.

I can hardly believe my little boy is 3 years old today. He has came so far for a little boy who most doctors said shouldn't be here. What a major blessing he has been to us and we can't forget who he shares this special day with. None other than his favorite buddy his Daddy!! So Happy Birthday to the best guys in my life!!

Father's Day

Just wanted to add the one picture of the kids on Father's Day. As you can tell from the picture, Reese was not to happy about it. I am so proud to have a husband that wants to spend so much time with his kids and help me so much and really be a father to them. I really don't know what I would do without him. Thank you.
Chris is holding the many projects the kids did for him on Fathers Day. Stafford was really proud of them.

Mini Vacation

We were trying to roar like the dinosaur.

A couple weeks ago we went to Kansas City for a wedding and went a day early so we could stay at the Great Wolf Lodge. If you don't know it has a indoor water park at the resort. It is really awesome for kids and ours really enjoyed it and I have to admit that Chris and I did also. We couldn't help ourselves but go down all the rides that the kids couldn't. We also went to the resturant T-Rex with the kids one night and they loved it, even though we had to drag them both into the resturant latched on to both of us because of the huge dinosaurs everywhere. Both of the kids warmed up pretty quickly and loved every minute of it. The funny thing was Stafford knew what type of dinosaur each one was because Chris reads him a dinosaur book at night sometimes, so he new that T-rex was a scary and mean dinosaur. We kept reminding him that these dinosaurs were just pretend and not real. So by the end of the night when we left he said, "Mom their just pretend, their not real". We will defintely go back with the kids.
I almost forgot about the carousel. The wedding we went to was outside and just a small walk from it was this carousel, so we took advantage of it and took the kids for a ride after the reception. What fun..
