"Mission Takeaway Passy"

Well it is official, Reese no longer takes a passy when she goes to sleep. We have been talking to Reese about it for a couple weeks now, so yesterday when she woke up from her nap she said she was going to mail her passy to Ella well we decided to go with it and got an envelope out and let her draw on it and we wrote Ella's name on it and Reese's name on it. She put her passy in it and sealed it up and walked it out to the mailbox and put it in the mail. She was so proud of herself and I loved the look on her face.
We were curious how it would go when bedtime came around, but she did great. We put her in bed and she looked around for her passy and then we reminded her that she had mailed it to Ella. She laid her head down and grabbed ahold of minnie mouse really tight. You could tell she was thinking, "I can do this".
Well she did. We never heard a word out of her all night and the last picture is of her when she woke up this morning.
GREAT JOB REESE!!!

Priceless

Tea parties with daddy, nothing more needs to be said.

I love them so much.....

I have to take advantage of the opportunity to get a picture of the both of them when they let me. I could just eat them up.

Touch-A-Truck

I am so proud of Chris, he took the kids by himself to Touch-A-Truck the weekend I was out of town. Plus he took the camera with him and even got some great pictures of the kids there. He told me the kids had a great time, even though the weather didn't really cooperate. Lets just say my kids have a great dad and if I have to say so myself a great husband too.

Easter 2010

Our only family picture on Easter. (Little windy, and in the shade)

We had a great Easter. The kids woke up to what the Easter bunny brought them. Then we let the kids play with their toys for awhile before we all got ready for church. Church was great as usually and then we headed to the clubhouse for brunch. It was just our family of 4 this year. My parents were out of town and Chris's parents stayed in Branson this year. It was really strange not having the rest of your family around to celebrate Easter with, but we made the most of it with our little family.

Painting Easter Eggs

Yes I know my kids don't have shirts on, but I am one of those parents that just don't want to try and get the mess out of their clothes if I don't have too. Plus don't they just look so sweet like this anyway. The kids loved decorating the eggs however they wanted. Even though Stafford wanted to color every egg blue. We had four of them that were colored blue, but we ended up making it a dark purple.

Church Egg Hunt

Saturday morning I decided to take the kids to our church's easter egg hunt. The kids of course had a great time, but mommy was worn out by the end of it. I get a little overwhelmed with lots of kids everwhere and keeping an eye on mine. We did get to meet up with a buddy Cy at the egg hunt, but we lost him later in the crowd of people and kids in the gym. All and all it was a fun morning for the kids.

School Easter Party

I was told by Stafford that he had to have a blue Easter basket. Thank goodness I lucked out and found this one. This kid loves blue so much that he passed up eggs just to get his Easter basket full of blue ones.

We may have trouble, he went to sit right in the middle of all the girls.

Stafford had a great Easter party at school. He had a easter egg hunt, easter snack, played games, made a craft, and then sang and danced. It was a great day and it was so fun to watch him interact with his friends at school. I just love his school and so does he.
