Surgery Update

Day before surgery . He has become quite a Daddy's boy.

After a long night for Mommy. Stafford slept really good, it was just the nurses coming in all through the night to check vitals.
Watching his nurse take out his IV before we were discharged.

Stafford made it through his surgery great. We were so proud of him and the nurses bragged on how well he did with all the poking and prodding they did to him while he was in the hospital. I think the whole process was harder on his family than it was on him. We have been pleasantly surprised how he hasn't complained a lot about his incisions or being in pain. Again, we want to thank everyone for thinking about us and calling and checking on him during this tough time in our lives. Hopefully this surgery will keep his other kidney as healthy as possible and put us on the right track.

Stafford's 2nd Birthday

Stafford's birthday and lets not for get it is Daddy's birthday too, was on the 22nd. We are going to have another party with friends and family this weekend, so hopefully I will get some great pictures of the kids.
The picture of him in the soccer uniform was taken the day after his birthday and after a quarter of the cake was eaten. He loved blowing the candles out, so we put some more in and let him do it again. It is really hard to believe my little boy is 2 years old and my big boy is 30.
And on another note, please keep Stafford in your prayers on the 7th of August. We are going to Dallas to have his left kidney removed. We pray that everything goes well and this will keep our little boy as healthy as possible. Stay tuned and we will keep you updated.

Attempting

These are just a few of the attempts to get a picture of Reese and Stafford together smiling. As you can tell from the pictures it is a very hard thing to do. Hopefully before to long we will get a good one.
