First Movie

We took the kids to their first movie last week. Lets just say Stafford loved it!! Reese is still a little young, but we knew that. Reese sat throught the previews and then it was musical chairs the rest of the movie. Luckily, there was only 10 people in the whole theatre, so we let her pretty much roam up and down the aisle and that suited her just fine. Stafford on the other had, you never heard a word out of him unless he was asking you questions about the movie. Can't wait for movie time. The sad thing is this was me and Chris's 1st time to a movie in probably 3 years.

Cupcakes

Stafford, Reese, and I have made cupcakes a couple of times lately. Stafford has really enjoyed decorating them. So I put the icing on and then let him go to town on all the decorating. I give him a pie plate and put the cupcakes in them and then give him marshmallows, sprinkles, M&M's, etc... You can see from the pictures what he comes up with. Reese just enjoys eating them right now. I think more of the decorations went into her mouth than onto the cupcakes. Fun times.

Painting in the Tub

Some of our rainy days have been spent in the tub painting. It is the best activity to keep the kids busy and just let them go crazy. I just put the finger paints in the tub and let them go at it. They keep all the mess in the tub and then when they are through, just wash it away. You really need to try it some day. The kids absolutely love it!!

Well Stafford finally got his first big popknot on his head last night. He was playing chase with his Daddy and I think his feet got a little faster than the rest of his body and he fell smack dab into the side of the chair in the living room. I sure there will be more to come.

Reese's Back-to-School

Reese started back to MDO two days a week and so far she is doing great. A little drama before I leave, but I look back into the room after I finish signing her in and she is playing away. The drama is probably just for mommy. Her teachers say she is happy all day long and worries about the other kids when they are crying. Glad to know she has a sensitive side.

Stafford's 1st Day of Preschool

Stafford started his first day of Preschool and he absolutely loves it. I look forward to seeing what all he learns this year. I still can't believe my little boy is old enough to start preschool.
