Meeting Ella

We went up to Branson last week to meet our new cousin for the 1st time, Aunt Val and Ella flew in from San Francisco for a whole week. Ella just turned 3 months old and the kids loved her. Reese would walk around pointing at her and say baby over and over. We can't wait to see Ella again at Christmas time.

Also, while we were there, Papi took Stafford fishing for the first time in the pond below their house and you can tell from the picture that has luck. Lots of perch.

Colorado

Alpine Slide in Breckenridge (So Fun!!)

Little Train ride in Vail.

Not to sure about the horse.

Reading books before bedtime.

Loving the swings!

One of the many water fountain parks. The kids could have stayed at these all day long.

I don't know how much Chris enjoyed the bike ride, especially when you are pulling an extra 60 pounds up the hills.

Roasting marshmellows with daddy.

We just got back from a great week in Colorado with the kids. It was a fun pack week of activities. From the Alpine Slide, to paddle boats, roasting marshmellows, playing in parks galore, riding bikes, etc....
The kids did great and absolutely loved it. We always look forward to going to Colorado. Mom and Dad came later in the week, so that always helps to have extra babysitters. Can't wait for ski season.

Soccer

Well we signed Stafford up for Soccer this year. I have to admit I was a little hesitant because I thought he wouldn't have the attention span for it, but so far he is really into it. The last time we had practice, he asked us if he could come back and play again. So, I guess we will be sticking it out for 10 weeks. Probably more post to come of his soccer after his first game starts this weekend.
How cute do they look in their soccer get-up?

Big Boy Bed

Guess who finally has moved into a big boy bed? I am still putting my finishing touches on his bedroom, so when I am through I will post pics. By the way, he is loving it and doing so good. I don't know why I put it off for so long.

Stafford's 3rd Birthday

We had Stafford's birthday party with his friends at the JumpZone! and it was great! All the kids had so much fun and especially Stafford. Then of course we had a family party on his birthday because we had to celebrate Daddy's too. We did make a trip up to FastLanes that night and everybody had a great time. All and all great times!!

Swim Ranch 2009

We completed our first year of swim ranch and the kids did great. By the end of the week, Stafford swam from one side of the pool to the other side(with a swim buoy, but they say it just really gives them reassurance). I was so proud of him and he was so proud of himself. Reese did well too, but by the end of the week, she just wanted to play in the pool and not take instructions. I guess you can't have two patient children. Overall, I think it was a success and can't wait till next year.

July Days

We have had some great July days and nights. From swimming in the pool to eating corn on the cob to eating popsicles outside at night. I just love the summer and the great memories you make. These kids are loving the pool and can't get enough of eating popsicles outside after dinner. I strip them down, especially Reese, and let them loose. You can tell from the picture how well Reese is at eating it before it melts all over her. See why I strip her down.
