First Half-Marathon in Dallas

Chris and I finished our first half-marathon in Dallas. Stephanie completed her first marathon and did awesome. As you can tell from the picture of her throwing her hands up as she finished. Chris and I both accomplished our goal of finishing under 2 hours. Chris finished in 1 hour and 49 minutes and I did it in 1 hour and 51 minutes. I think we may be hooked and try it again. My brother was there too to run the last half of the race with my sister. All in all it was a great weekend besides being sore for a couple days after the race.

Thanksgiving weekend

As you can tell from the pics, I forgot to get many pics on Thanksgiving day. So here on some random ones.

Silver Dollar City

We made it to Silver Dollar City over Thanksgiving weekend. Stafford made himself a candle, we rode the train, and saw the lights. Just enough for us on a cold night. The funny thing was when we were leaving we asked Stafford what his favorite thing was that we did and he said, "The bus in fun." He was talking about the bus ride we had to take to and from the parking lot. So I guess it doesn't take much for our boy to be happy and have fun.

KASPWAGR '08

This past weekend we went to Branson for the frst annual KASPWAGR golf outing. Go to Amber's blog, she explains how they came up with the name and what it is all about much better than I could.
This was the only picture taken from the weekend and Amber took it. I had my camera with me the whole time and never got any pictures. It was lots of fun and nice to have a girls day. Can't wait till next year and see where the trip will take us.

By the way, Stafford was taking a nap, that is why he wasn't in the picture.

First Day of School

Reese has started going 1 day a week to Mom's Day Out. So of course I had to get a picture of it. Stafford had to get in the picture after he saw me taking pictures of Reese.
So far she is doing well. I was a little hestiate at first, but it is working out great and I am surprised how protective Stafford is when I take her to school with him. The teachers tell me that he asks about her, especially when he hears a baby crying, he wants to know if it is Reese crying.

Halloween Night

I know this is really late getting up, but I just got my pictures off of my camera. I just
wanted to add a few pics from Halloween night. We went on a hayride at the country club and went trick-or-treating at the houses on the course. It was lots of fun, Stafford was a little unsure of the whole hayride, but his buddy Knox put him at ease. As you can see from one of the pics he has his hand around Knox holding on to him. (So cute) Can't wait till next year.
